5. Customize your app

Your clients don't see the TrainerStudio brand, they see yours. You set it up in a few minutes from Your app → Customize App, with a live preview that shows you exactly how it looks.

1. In the left-hand menu, go to Your app → Customize App.
2. Type the App name: the one that shows up under the icon on your client's phone.
3. Under Visual identity, click Change to upload:
   • your app icon, a square image (192 × 192 px);
   • your header logo, a wide image shown at the top of the app (600 × 80 px).
4. Pick your Primary color, used for buttons and highlights. Choose one that stands out well against white.
5. Under Client features, decide what your clients can do: whether they log their numbers on exercises (Exercise marks) or can send you photos and videos of their technique (File uploads). Even if you turn it off, they can post the photo or video you ask for on a specific item (how to ask).
6. Click Save changes.

Do my clients have to reinstall the app? No. Next time they open it, they'll see your logo and colors.

What about clients using the App Store or Google Play app? Inside the app they see your content, but the name and icon on their phone are TrainerStudio's. For them to see your brand on the outside too, have them install it from their access link (lesson 4).

I don't have a logo. What should I do? You can start without one and add it later. In the meantime, at least set your name and your color.

Does the color change my dashboard too? No. It only applies to your clients' app.
