6. What your client sees

This is the app from your client's side: everything you program in your dashboard shows up here, and everything they log comes back to you.

See it for yourself

On your client's profile, open the menu with their name (at the top, next to the section you're in) and click Client App Preview. You'll see their app exactly as they do.

Heads up: anything you do in Client App Preview is saved to their account. If you mark an exercise as done, it's done for them too.

What your client does

  1. Home. They see their week and their next workout, with the Start workout button.
  2. The workout. The blocks and exercises in the order you programmed them.
  3. Each exercise. The video, your instructions and two tabs. In Log they enter the weight and reps for each set (it saves automatically) and tap its number to mark it as done. In Comments they tell you how it went and read your replies.
  4. Finish workout. When they're done, they tap Finish workout; if they left any exercise unchecked, they can complete them all at once. You get notified right away. You turn this button on in Your app → Customize App → Finish workout button.
  5. Progress and Messages. In Progress they log their weight, measurements and photos; in Messages they can write to you whenever they need to. When you reply on an exercise, they get a notification that takes them straight to your comment.

FAQ

What I see in Client App Preview doesn't match what my client sees. Have them close the app and open it again to load the latest changes. If they use the app store version, make sure it's up to date.

My client can't log their weights. Check Exercise marks in Your app → Customize App (lesson 5).

Can my client send me a video of their technique? Yes, in the exercise's Comments tab, if you have File uploads turned on in Customize App. If you want them to do it no matter what, ask with Ask the client for → A video: they can't complete the exercise without posting it, even with file uploads turned off. See How to ask your clients for photos and videos?.
